The study confirms what many of us already felt: there’s a strong need and community support for a multi-use space where local artists, makers, performers, and creatives can gather, create, exhibit, teach, and sell their work year-round.
Thank you to everyone in Churchill who filled out the survey, joined the community workshops, and shared your ideas. A special thanks to Inga Petri and Antoinette Green-Oliph for traveling to Churchill to lead the study, and to our partners at the Town of Churchill, Churchill Public Library, ImagiNorthern, and the Province of Manitoba for their ongoing support.
We look forward to working together on the next steps—starting with a pilot program in the Town Centre Complex!
