Georgina Oman is a lifelong resident of Churchill, Manitoba, a proud Cree/Innew Iskwew (Cree woman), and a respected Indigenous knowledge keeper and Elder in the community. Deeply rooted in tradition, Georgina creates custom handmade mukluks, moccasins and mitts, featuring traditional beadwork and designs passed down through generations.

Her work not only keeps people warm in the harsh northern climate but also keeps Cree culture and craftsmanship alive, with each piece telling a story of heritage, resilience, and connection to the land. Georgina’s artistry reflects decades of lived experience in Churchill and a lifelong commitment to sharing and preserving Indigenous knowledge through her creations.
